What Discovery lets you establish
Which material supports, or refutes, my argument?
Ask your questions in plain language and get every answer the document set holds. Every result is tied back to its source document and its provenance.
What is missing from the file?
Deleted messages, incomplete mailboxes, absent periods: anomalies are identified, dated and quantified, ready for a disclosure request or a counter-expertise.
What are the links between the people involved?
Communication networks can be read in the exchanges themselves: who speaks to whom, who meets whom, who talks about whom, across the whole period the file covers.
The principle
Two worlds Discovery brings together
Keyword search
Brings the volume. Millions of pages in seconds, but words without any grasp of their meaning.
AI language models
Bring the meaning. They understand context and reason, but over a few thousand pages at a time (1M tokens).
Esiense Discovery
The best of both. Indexes the entire file, selects the relevant material, submits it to the AI model and keeps a trace of every item.
Discovery is independent of the AI language model. We currently recommend Claude, by Anthropic.
The solution
A solution that fits your information system
Installed on your own servers, or hosted by Esiense on a dedicated instance in a sovereign cloud in Paris. No exposure to the public internet, named accounts from your own directory, full access log.
Every item is traced
Digital fingerprint, unique reference and origin retained for every email, attachment and document. Copies and duplicates are counted. Nothing is discarded silently: a figure produced by Discovery can always be accounted for.

An annual fee based on usage
An unshared technical environment. Review, data ingestion and system administration tools, AI connector, access log. Updates and support included. Pricing agreed in a meeting.
